Counselling.

I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, working within an Integrative and Relational framework. This may mean that I draw upon different theoretical approaches, responsive to your needs and how you experience the world.

The principles of Integrative Counselling include the belief that 'humans have an innate thrust to grow'- we have the capacity for positive change, and that we are 'meaning makers'. The therapeutic relationship can offer a safe and non-judgmental environment to process. To be curious about our experiences, such as past traumas and the meaning we make from these experiences.

I offer both short and long term, one-to-one counselling in a confidential environment. Working alongside you, for your therapeutic journey.

As a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I am experienced in working with complex mental health at relational depth.

I am able to work with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bereavement
  • PTSD
  • Personality Disorders
  • Trauma
  • Self-harm and Suicidal ideation.

Clinical Supervision.

I am an experienced supervisor, offering supervision to a diverse supervisee group, including trainee counsellors. The way in which we agree to work together is a collegial process, so space will be held to explore our needs of the Supervisory relationship.

Supervision is offered using Hawkins and Shohet, 7 eyed process model, contained within the boundaries of the BACP ethical framework.

I am able to provide both Individual and Group Supervision.
